Better Plans, Better Life

AI-guided planning for life.

Life decisions are rarely neat.

They’re emotional and complicated, and most of us are making them without a clear way to slow down and sort through what actually matters.

Why I Built Better Plans

I’m a full-time medical device engineer who spends my days working through complex problems and a lot of my off-hours planning. The same principles and methods I apply at work are extremely useful in everyday life, like defining what matters, acknowledging uncertainty, thinking through trade-offs before committing, and balancing schedules and budgets.

At the same time, AI is changing what’s possible. It does not replace human judgment, but it can expand that judgment and make structured planning more efficient.

So I started combining established engineering principles with the efficiency of AI to work through decisions in my own life.

What Better Plans Is Really For

Using this framework hasn’t meant making the “best” decision every time and isn’t a quick fix for all challenges. What it has resulted in is high satisfaction with outcomes, not because everything went perfectly to plan, but because I had clarity on the situation and confidence in the trade-offs I chose.

Better Plans, Better Life is where I’m organizing and sharing that way of thinking in an approachable way, with the hope that it’s useful to others navigating big life moments.
